HBC was founded in 2006 by Ms. Tieasha Waddy who is the Founder/Executive Director. She re-birthed the program: 1) due to the needs of so many teens who were lost in the system, 2) teens not having a chance to experience their full life, and 3) so many teens failing to graduate with a high school diploma. Our program is here to provide information, resources, parenting education, career development, mindset and emotional support to pregnant and/or parenting teens in order to empower all teens to reach their individual potential and become contributing members of a diverse community.
Integrity. We know and do what is right.
Respect. We treat others, the way they want to be treated.
Responsibility. We embrace opportunities to contribute to society.
Servant Leadership. We serve the common good of mankind.
Evolve and Adapt. We strive to always offer more robust and improved programs.
HBC long-term vision and commitment is to opening a Teen Pregnancy Homeless Shelter for homeless expectant mothers, so that the moms can be in a safe, protected environment, so that the teen mother is able to finish school and become gainfully employed.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
